1. This promotion is open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over, excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Employees of the Promoter and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion are not entitled to enter the promotion.
2. Purchase is necessary. Please retain an itemised receipt that states the time and date of purchase during the Promotional Period as this may be required for validation and in order for the winner to receive their prize. Internet access and a valid email address are required.
3. Promotional Period: Qualifying purchases are required to be made between 00:01 GMT on 12th March 2025 and 23:59 BST on 8th April 2025. Final date to enter the promotion is 23.59 BST on 8th April 2025. All entries received after this date will be automatically disqualified.
4. To enter: Spend £30 or more in a single transaction at a Boots store, visit www.bootsbigbeautygiveaway.com and complete the claim form, including entering the claim code printed on a qualifying purchase receipt made during the Promotion Period.

8. Winner Selection: Prizes will be randomly distributed via winning moments (pre-determined random time slots specified by day, hour, minute, second) during the promotional period by a secure independently verified computer programme. If your time of valid entry is the first to fall on, or after, a winning moment, you win the prize randomly pre-allocated to that winning moment. If two entries are received at the same time, the entry processed by the server first will be the winning entry. Any prize not won before the next winning moment is rolled over into the next winning moment and will be available to be won then. Any prizes not won, or claimed, during the promotional period will be awarded via a mop-up draw at the end of the promotional period.
9. A mop-up draw for all unallocated prizes from the promotional period will take place within 7 days of the end of the promotional period via a randomised computer process. All unsuccessful entries received in the promotional period will be entered in the mop-up draw.

Further Prize Details and Conditions:

10. Winner Notification: Winners will be instantly notified on screen and asked to follow the instructions to claim their prize or gift. Winners will be required to confirm acceptance of their prize or gift immediately. In the event that a winner does not provide the required details immediately, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner. Winners will receive an email confirming the details of their prize and further instructions to claim.
11. Mop-up Draw Winner Notification: Mop-up draw winners will be notified within 7 days of the mop-up draw by email and will be required to respond within 14 days to accept the prize. In the event a winner does not respond within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner from all remaining entries, with the original winner forfeiting their prize. It is the responsibility of entrants to check their emails during this period including spam/junk folders. The process will repeat twice after which all remaining prizes will become null and void.
12. Prize Delivery for Beauty Product Prizes: All Beauty Product Prizes will be delivered by Royal Mail 48 within 28 days of the initial notification. In the unlikely event that a prize or gift doesn’t arrive within 28 days of acceptance, winners will have a further 28 days to inform the Promoter by emailing [email protected]. In the event that a winner does not inform the Promoter within this time frame, the Promoter will reserve the right to not reissue the prize or gift or limit its value at their sole discretion. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner does not, or is not able to, take up their prize or gift.

13. Prize Delivery for Experience Prizes: Following receiving the prize confirmation email, winners will be contacted by email by the prize provider with either:

    1. Their experience eGift card including full instructions on how to use the gift card, expiry date, exclusions and full terms and conditions; or
    2. Instructions on how to book their Experience including expiry date, exclusions and full terms and conditions.
14. A list of winners can be provided up to one month after the close of the Promotion by emailing [email protected]. This will contain surname and county (if available) of residence only. Winners can object to their surname being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced during the Winner Notification process. The Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority upon reasonable request.
15. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in publicity arising from the Promotion. The winners are under no obligation to participate and may decline this request. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of the prize acceptance.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, place of residence and/or that they are not employed by the Promoter or its Agent) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms & Conditions, corrupted or affected the administration, security or integrity of the Promotion, tampered with the entry process, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
17. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the Promotion and/or confirming acceptance of the prize or gift in order for it to be processed. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects acceptance or delivery of their prize or gift.
18. The prizes or gifts are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason any element of a prize or gift is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute another prize or gift for it, of equal or greater value.
19. An entry must be made directly by the individual entering the Promotion. Incomplete or illegible claims together with claims which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be considered.
20. In the event that the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries.
21. The decisions of the Promoter are final and binding in all matters relating to the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
22. No responsibility can be taken for entries or winning claims that are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the text platform/claim line/web page.
23. The Promoter, together with any associated agencies and companies, will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using a Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
24. The Promoter will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations or any delay in performing its obligations within these Terms & Conditions. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.The Promoter will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations or any delay in performing its obligations within these Terms & Conditions. 25. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize or gift in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the Prizes have been awarded.
26. If you win a prize, your data will be shared with VCG (see VCG’s privacy policy) who are acting as a third party to post out these prizes to the winners. If you win an experience prize, your contact information will be shared with the relevant third party. Please refer to the third party’s privacy policy for how they handle their data.
27. VCG will store your data for 6 months. After this time, the data will be deleted. For experience prize providers, please see their individual privacy policies.
28. Any and all personal data supplied for the running of this Promotion will be used solely for the purpose of this Promotion by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of the Promoter and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy.
29. If any provisions of these Terms & Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.
30. By entering this Promotion, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
31. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material, the details in the Terms & Conditions will prevail.
